You're free to use whatever sound you wish.

Thank you.

Are you planning to release the latest version on the main download page?

I think the version on the main download page still has the sound issue, but I'm not sure.

But I would have like to fix other things before releasing it.

More is coming: look at http://www.sorobanexam.org/mentalcalcula... soon.
Edit:
with experimental support of text to speech (only working in firefox 6; broken in chromium and opera; not available in IE)

There is a bug in the latest 0.3.4.4 release.

When I click on Settings to change any setting, and then OK, the font size gets reset to small.

Another small issue: when in full screen mode, pressing ESC closes the **program**. It would be better to restore the window to regular size.

Thank you.

I much preferred the previous auto scaling of fonts based on window size.

The new Ctrl +/- is awkward to use compared to auto scaling. Also, unlike almost all UIs, I have to use Ctrl/Shift/+ to increase font, as opposed to just Ctrl/+ (that is: Ctrl/=). It took me a while to realize I had to use the Shift key to make this to work.

On most web UIs, Ctrl/+ just works (no need to add Shift) (actually both Ctrl/Shift/+ and Ctrl/+ work).

I find pressing ESC to escape full screen mode is more intuitive that F11, but that's minor. I guess F11 has the advantage of toggling back and forth.

Thanks again.
